JBL has introduced its latest Bar MK2 soundbar series in India to mark its 80th anniversary. This collection consists of the JBL Bar 1300MK2, 1000MK2, 800MK2, and 500MK2, all equipped with Dolby Atmos and MultiBeam 3.0 for an immersive sound experience. The more advanced models come with detachable wireless surround speakers, with power outputs ranging from 750W to 2,470W based on the specific model. The range also features JBL SmartDetails, AI Sound Boost, and PureVoice 2.0, showcasing variations in channel setup, subwoofer dimensions, and overall power output. The JBL Bar 1300MK2 is priced at Rs. 1,74,999, the Bar 1000MK2 at Rs. 1,49,999, the Bar 800MK2 at Rs. 1,24,999, and the Bar 500MK2 at Rs. 64,999. Customers can purchase these soundbars from JBL.com, select stores, and online platforms throughout India. All four models are compatible with Dolby Atmos and DTS formats and utilize JBL's MultiBeam 3.0 technology for three-dimensional audio. The JBL Bar 1300MK2 can produce up to 2,470W output with an 11.1.4-channel format and includes a dual 8-inch subwoofer. In contrast, the JBL Bar 1000MK2 features a 7.1.4-channel system with 960W output and a 10-inch subwoofer.
The JBL Bar 800MK2, conversely, offers 780W output with a 7.1-channel system and a 10-inch subwoofer, while the Bar 500MK2 provides 750W output in a 5.1-channel configuration. The JBL Bar 1300MK2, 1000MK2, and 800MK2 have detachable wireless surround speakers, whereas the 500MK2 has a non-detachable speaker setup. The 1300MK2 and 1000MK2 come with up-firing drivers for authentic Dolby Atmos sound, while the 800MK2 blends Dolby Atmos with DTS Virtual:X. Throughout the lineup, JBL has integrated SmartDetails to enhance audio precision and PureVoice 2.0 to clarify dialogue, while AI Sound Boost is uniquely found in the 1300MK2 for enhanced bass. The soundbars can be configured and updated using the JBL One app, and they are compatible with various streaming services through AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, and Roon Ready.
