After the introduction of the iPhone 17, Apple is preparing to update its other products. According to an experienced reporter, the tech company from Cupertino might reveal three new items this week. One of the likely announcements could be a new 14-inch MacBook Pro that runs on an M5 processor. This same chip is also expected to be included in the forthcoming iPad Pro. Additionally, it seems that a new version of the Apple Vision Pro is planned, though it will likely be more of a small update than a completely new model. In the latest Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg discussed the upcoming Apple items. He stated that the company would announce three new products this week, but the launches will occur online rather than at a special live event. If this information is true, we should expect Apple to share press releases about the new products on its newsroom and announce them through its social media accounts. Initially, we thought the launch event would happen between October 28 and 30, but Apple appears to have returned to its previous launch schedule for its new products.

Gurman believes that the iPad Pro (2025) will be among the key products unveiled by the company at its October event. However, this tablet is expected to have only minor updates instead of significant changes. Reports indicate it will have an improved M5 chip and a new selfie camera that faces forward, which would join the existing landscape camera on the current version. However, this feature was not seen on the model that was recently shown in leaks from Russia. The M5 processor is said to improve multi-core CPU performance by 12 percent and GPU performance by up to 36 percent compared to the current M4 model. The second item anticipated is a 14-inch MacBook Pro, which, similar to the iPad Pro (2025), is expected to have only a chipset update. This laptop may use Apple's new M5 system on a chip. We previously anticipated that Apple would release up to five new products during its Fall event, but now it appears only three will be introduced.

Gurman mentioned that Apple will also present a refreshed version of the Apple Vision Pro during its Fall event. However, it is not expected to be the Vision Pro 2, but rather a minor update. Possible changes might include an M5 chip. There are also reports of a "Dual Knit Band" head strap being added. Keep in mind that the information mentioned is based on unofficial sources and should be considered with caution. We can look forward to more specifics when Apple officially announces its new products.
