Samsung has introduced the Galaxy S25 FE in India. This phone, which was revealed worldwide earlier this month, features an Exynos 2400 processor, a battery capacity of 4,900mAh, a rear camera setup with three lenses totaling 50 megapixels, and a front camera of 12 megapixels. It operates on Android 16 with One UI 8 and is set to receive seven years of updates for the Android operating system and security improvements. The South Korean tech company has shared the pricing details for the phone in India and stated that those purchasing the 256GB model will receive a complimentary upgrade to 512GB. Additional promotional offers have also been announced. The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is priced at Rs. 59,999 for the 8GB + 128GB version, while the 8GB + 256GB and 8GB + 512GB versions are priced at Rs. 65,999 and Rs. 77,999, respectively. Customers who choose the 256GB model will get a free upgrade to the 512GB version, as stated by the company. They can also take advantage of a bank cashback of Rs. 5,000 and no-cost EMI plans for up to 24 months.
The Galaxy S25 FE smartphone will be available for sale on the Samsung India website, within Samsung Exclusive Stores, selected authorized retail locations, and some online platforms starting from September 29. It will be offered in colors such as Icy Blue, Jet Black, Navy, and White. Samsung has equipped the Galaxy S25 FE with a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display that has a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, peak brightness of 1,900 nits, Vision Booster, and protection from Gorilla Glass Victus+. It is driven by an Exynos 2400 processor accompanied by 8GB of RAM and storage options reaching up to 512GB. The device operates on One UI 8 based on Android 16 and will receive seven years of OS and security updates. The Fan Edition of the Galaxy S25 also features Google’s Circle to Search, Gemini Live, and various AI functionalities. For photography, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is equipped with a main 50-megapixel camera, an 8-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera on the back. On the front, it includes a 12-megapixel camera for selfies and video conferencing. The phone supports AI-enhanced editing tools like Generative Edit. It also has a cooling system with a vapor chamber that is 13 percent larger than that of the Galaxy S24 FE.
The Galaxy S25 FE is powered by a 4,900mAh battery and offers fast charging capabilities of 45W via wired connections and 15W wirelessly. Additionally, it is compatible with 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and USB Type-C connections. The device features an Armor Aluminum frame and has an IP68 rating, making it resistant to dust and water. It has a thickness of 7.4mm and weighs 190 grams.
