WB opens its archives to viewers for a fee

Warner Bros on Tuesday flagged off their new Television streaming subscription service that allows users to access the old and rare classic films from its archive which has collections dating back to 1920s.

Dig deep into the collections from the Warner Archive Instant which has films like Bonnie Scotland, a Laurel and Hardy classic, 1960s hit comedy flick, "Where the Boys Are" 1950s TV series The Adventures of Superman. If you would like to watch the classic horror movie from 1959, The Mummy, a few clicks is all it takes.

The flicks are all available on subscription of $10 per month. However, the services are free for the first month. Watch the movies comfortably on your computers or sit back in your living room and enjoy it with your family if you have a Roku streaming television box.

Warner Bros tweeted, "There will be more of everything as we're trying to strike a balance. Stay tuned and join when you like the programming”, suggesting that there will be lots of additions collection wise and also facility-wise.

The bad news is, except for US citizens, that streaming is available only in USA, at least, at the moment.
