BJP figure Amit Malviya made a post highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the most trusted and highest-rated leader in the world. Based on the most recent Global Leader Approval Rating from Morning Consult, which surveyed from July 4 to July 10, 2025, India’s Prime Minister remains the most reliable leader globally. “Cherished by over a billion citizens of India and acknowledged by many worldwide, PM Narendra Modi once again leads the Morning Consult Global Leader Approval Tracker — the top-rated and most trusted leader worldwide. Strong guidance. Global admiration. India is in safe hands,” Malviya stated on X. With a 75 percent approval rate, Modi surpasses leaders like South Korea’s Lee Jae-myung at 59 percent, Argentina’s Javier Milei at 57 percent, and Canada’s Mark Carney at 56 percent. US President Donald Trump is in eighth place with an approval of 44 percent.

These findings show that Modi is still very popular on the global stage and confirm his status as the most approved leader in the world. Prime Minister Modi has maintained the leading position in Morning Consult’s Global Leader Approval Rating Tracker since at least September 2021, when he had a 70 percent approval rate. By early 2022, his rating was around 71 percent, topping a list of 13 world leaders. He kept this lead throughout 2023, with rates reaching 76 percent in surveys done in April, September, and December. In February 2024, his approval reached its highest at 78 percent, solidifying his place at the top of the global rankings.
