Vijay Deverakonda has been said to be seeing Rashmika Mandanna for some time now. Although both actors have kept quiet about their relationship, the Arjun Reddy star has expressed feelings of regret about not spending ample time with his girlfriend, and he is trying to change that. In a chat with Cinema Vikatan, Vijay opened up about his struggle to find time for his loved ones. He mentioned, “Relationships are the most important thing. Over the last couple of years, I have been maturing. I have discovered how to enjoy life. Before this, I wasn’t like that. During the past 2–3 years, I didn’t like how things went for me. I didn’t dedicate enough time to my mom, dad, girlfriend, and friends. Suddenly, one day, it hit me. I didn’t want to feel that way anymore. Now… I am making an effort to prioritize time for my loved ones. I carve out time for my friends, for my mom and dad, for my relationships,” he shared.

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna appeared together in the 2018 movie Geetha Govindam and the 2019 film Dear Comrade. Rumors about their relationship have been circulating on the internet for several years, but neither of them has confirmed or denied it. Last year, a trip to the Maldives by Vijay and Rashmika sparked rumors of an upcoming wedding announcement. There were also reports suggesting that the two might soon exchange engagement rings. However, the actor from Liger later made it clear that he was not planning to get engaged or married. On the work front, Rashmika Mandanna was last seen in Sikandar alongside Salman Khan. This film, directed by AR Murugadoss, is currently available for streaming on Netflix. She is now working on Thama with Ayushmann Khurrana, which is set to be released during Diwali 2025, and she will reprise her role as Srivalli in Pushpa 3. Additionally, she is involved in other projects like Cocktail 2, The Girlfriend, Rainbow, and Ek Saath Do Do. Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda is preparing for Kingdom, a spy thriller set to release in theatres on July 31. He is also working on SVC 59 with Ravi Kiran Kola and VD14, a historical action film directed by Rahul Sankrityan.
