YouTube has said that it will get rid of the Trending Page, which showed the videos that everyone was watching, almost ten years after it started in 2015. The website says that in the last five years, not as many people have gone to the Trending Page because they are finding videos from different places on the site. The company also said that from now on, people will be able to see the most popular YouTube videos sorted into different groups on YouTube Charts. In a post on Google&039;s YouTube Help page, it said that the Trending Page, along with the Trending Now list, will stop being used almost ten years after it started in 2015. Also, Google&039;s YouTube Trending Page Help Center has said that the Trending Page will be taken down on July 21.

The company says that there are a lot fewer people looking at the Trending Page now than there were five years ago because people are using the site differently. In the post, it said that people are now finding out what's popular from different places on YouTube, like suggestions, search hints, Shorts, comments, and Communities. YouTube also said in the post that from now on, people can find popular videos in different groups on YouTube Charts. However, it's important to remember that right now, YouTube Charts only has music videos. According to the post, people can check out YouTube Charts for Trending Music Videos, Weekly Top Podcast Shows, and Trending Movie Trailers. In the future, the company plans to add more types of videos to the Charts. For gaming videos, YouTube will still show the most popular videos on the Gaming Explore page.

Besides YouTube Charts, the website will also give people video suggestions that are just for them. The company thinks this will help show a “wider range of popular videos” that are good for different people. Also, people can go to YouTube's Explore Page, specific creators’ channels, and their subscriptions to find videos that are not just for them. Creators have used the YouTube Trending Page to get more people to watch their channels and tell people how well their newest videos are doing on other social media sites. They have also used the Trending Page to see what's popular and make videos based on what everyone is watching. For these creators, YouTube said that the Inspiration tab in YouTube Studio will keep giving them video ideas that are just for them. Recently, YouTube also said that it is changing its rules about making money to limit videos that are made in large numbers and are not real. The video website is trying to get better at finding videos that are not real and are the same over and over again so it can review them and maybe give them less money. This new rule will start on July 15.
