Autumn 2019: 6 Most Beautiful Places to Travel to This Fall

Autumn, also known as fall in North American English, has begun making way for easy on the eye sceneries in countries across the world with different colors of maple leaves hung loosely from branches ready to fall to the ground.

Autumn season (September-November) would be the best time travel. Not too hot, yet not too cold either, you can travel over to your heart's content in a snug climate. Throughout this season, the number of holidaymakers and the prices of the accommodation would be less when compared to the summer days.

Fall weather is perfect for exploring, whether it's a city or a national park. You won’t have to worry about breaking a sweat and you also won't have to pack bulky sweaters and coats in your traveling bag.

In case you are perplexed about where to visit in this autumn season, here we bring you the best places in the world to see the fall.

Michigan

During the fall, Michigan adorns itself in the vivid colors like stunning red, bright orange, and shining yellow. Michigan’s beautiful hiking trails turn out to be even more beautiful in the fall and aspen leaves in Colorado turn into shades of golden. Simply taking a stroll down the road or going on a road trip fills you with awe. Some of the trees that play a part in alluring beauty include oaks, birches and cherry trees with maple tree being the star.

Eastern Sierra, California

One of the popular places to witness the beauty of fall is Eastern Sierra, just a few hours from Los Angeles. From streams, granite canyons, and open skies the views are simply out of this world. You can see the best fall colors from Rock Creek, Mammoth Lakes, the June Lake Loop, Yosemite (Tioga Pass), Lundy Canyon, Bridgeport, and Sonora Pass.

Larch Valley, Lake Louise in Canada

Lake Louise in Canada is breathtaking at any time of the year, but it shines just a little brighter during fall. The Canadian Rockies is the best place to experience the season. The valley sees a huge influx of hikers from mid to late September as the entire place adorns itself with varying colors of yellow and golden. With snow-crowned peaks in the background, the spot simply looks fantastic.

Amsterdam Forest

During the autumn season, Amsterdam Forest bursts with different colors of fall leaves. The vista from park's canals to Grote Vijver Lake is beyond amazing. You can decide to walk, take a bike, ride on a horse or go canoeing inside the park.

Kancamagus Highway, New Hampshire, England

Driving on the Kancamagus Highway, a portion of NH route 112 spanning east to west from Lincoln to Conway, between late September to early October will be a spectacular experience. To observe the magical moment entirely, you can take a walk near the Sabbaday Falls in Conway. The landscapes of the giant mountains will surely imprint the picture in your mind.

Ozark Highlands Scenic Byway, Arkansas

Ozark Highlands Scenic Byway in Arkansas changes to dreamlike colors in late September and holds the look till early November. Some of the trees include maple trees, oak, hickory, sassafras, etc. This byway seems easy on the eye from vineyards to lakes. The route also covers the majestic Boston Mountain range and Buffalo National River.

Apart from these places, you can also travel to Torres del Paine in Chile, Cuzco and Machu Picchu in Peru, Northern Israel's Mediterranean Coastline, Colombia, and Snowdonia National Park in Wales.
