The Vivo V60 was introduced in August of last year, equipped with three rear cameras and a battery capacity of 6,500mAh. Currently, Vivo seems to be preparing to unveil the Vivo V70 as its potential next model. Before the official release, this new Vivo V series phone has been given an EU Energy Label. This label shows the battery size and the ratings for water and dust resistance for the Vivo V70. It is anticipated that the Vivo V70 will include a Snapdragon processor and a camera system branded by Zeiss. It is expected to be available in India next month. The new Vivo V70, identified by model number V2538, has also been assigned an EU Energy Label. The listing shows it will have a battery of 6,320mAh, which Vivo might advertise as 6,500mAh. The document states that the battery will survive for 900 cycles before dropping to 80 percent of its original capacity. The label further mentions 55W wired charging and an IP68 rating for water and dust protection. On a scale from A to E, the phone is rated C for how easy it is to repair. The device will be guaranteed to receive operating system security updates, fixes, and functionality updates for five years.
In comparison, the Vivo V60 has a 6,500mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging and holds IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. There have been rumors about the Vivo V70 for some time. It is expected to be officially announced in mid-February along with the Vivo V70 Elite. The smartphone has been seen on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website and Geekbench earlier under model number V2538. It is likely to feature Zeiss lenses, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, 8GB of RAM, and Android 16. Its price is estimated to be between Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 45,000. As noted, the Vivo V60 was launched in India in August 2025 with a price of Rs. 36,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. The current model has a 6.77-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen and operates on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC. The phone can support up to 16GB of RAM and has internal storage of up to 512GB. The Vivo V60 includes a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. Additionally, it has a 50-megapixel front camera.
