On Monday, LG introduced its new 4K UHD smart monitors in India. Customers can choose from two screen sizes: 27 inches and 31.5 inches. Both models are fitted with IPS displays that can achieve a peak brightness of 350 nits and provide 90 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color spectrum. The monitors are powered by WebOS, allowing usage without a connected PC, thanks to built-in applications like LG Fitness, Sports, and Games, as well as popular OTT platforms like Netflix and Prime Video. The LG 27SR75U smart monitor is priced at Rs. 32,000 in India but is currently available for Rs. 27,499. Meanwhile, the LG 32SR75U has a list price of Rs. 38,000, although it can be bought for Rs. 30,999. Both models can be purchased through the LG website and Amazon.
The LG 27SR75U features a 27-inch IPS display with a resolution of 3,840 × 2,160 pixels, a peak brightness of 350 nits, and a typical contrast ratio of 1000:1. Its dimensions are 613.2 x 372.6 x 49.0 mm, and the weight is 4.1 kg. Conversely, the LG 32SR75U comes with a 31.5-inch VA panel display, also with a resolution of 3,840 × 2,160 pixels and peak brightness of 250 nits. This model measures 714.2 x 429.4 x 49.2 mm and weighs 5.3 kg. Both monitors support a 16:9 aspect ratio, are HDR10 certified, and offer a refresh rate of 60Hz along with a 5 ms response time. They showcase a three-sided borderless design and include options for tilt and height adjustments.
According to the company, the latest LG 4K UHD smart monitors run on WebOS 23, allowing access to various features without needing a PC. They include built-in applications such as Sports, Game, and LG Fitness. Additionally, users can stream content from OTT services like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, YouTube, and Apple TV. Each monitor comes bundled with a Magic Remote, while AirPlay support enables Apple users to stream music, videos, photos, podcasts, and games seamlessly. Both the LG 27SR75U and LG 32SR75U are equipped with dual 5W speakers designed for enhanced multimedia enjoyment. For connectivity, these monitors offer Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-A and USB Type-C ports, as well as HDMI connectivity options.
