The inquiry into the car bombing in Delhi that took the lives of 13 individuals has discovered connections with suspects residing in Dubai, according to sources. This follows claims that some of the suspects were living in Turkey and Pakistan. The new lead came to light after detectives interrogated one of the suspects, Dr Adil Ahmed Rather, after he was detained for displaying posters in favor of the terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) in Srinagar. Dr Rather is from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh. While being questioned, he revealed that his brother, Muzzafar Rather, had gone to Pakistan before arriving in Dubai two months ago. This revelation has redirected the investigation towards the terror suspect's brother who is in Dubai. Sources suggest that Muzzafar Rather likely has direct connections to JeM. Investigators believe that his trip to Dubai was probably to secure funds for terrorist activities. They are now attempting to determine who Muzzafar Rather met in Pakistan prior to his flight to Dubai.

Dr Adil Ahmed, who was arrested on November 6 in Uttar Pradesh, was crucial in uncovering the complicated terror plan and now faces intense scrutiny regarding any connections he might have with suspects in Turkey. He served as a senior resident doctor at the Government Medical College in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir. Investigators uncovered a vast network involving doctors and religious leaders associated with terror organizations. While the inquiry into the supposed connection to Dubai will continue, a significant fact has been confirmed: Dr Umar Mohammad operated the i20 vehicle that detonated near Delhi's Red Fort on Monday. Dr Mohammad was a senior doctor at Al-Falah University in Faridabad, Haryana. His DNA matched perfectly with that of his mother and brother. The DNA was verified against Umar's bones, teeth, and clothing fragments found in the i20 after the explosion. This bombing occurred just hours after law enforcement seized almost 3,000 kg of explosives from two homes in Faridabad.

Dr Muzammil Shakeel, who has become a crucial figure in the "white-collar" terrorism network stretching from Jammu and Kashmir to other regions of India, is one of three doctors currently in custody. Investigators feel that the bust in Faridabad averted a major disaster, potentially a coordinated series of explosions in cities such as Delhi. This entire operation demonstrated how timely intelligence and cooperation between states can thwart terrorist acts. The terror group that included doctors allegedly associated with JeM had intended to carry out explosions at six sites in the National Capital Region on December 6. This date is significant because it marks the day the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya was destroyed in 1992. The alleged terrorists apprehended in relation to the blast claimed they selected this date to "avenge the demolition of the Babri Masjid."
