The coronavirus tally is rock steady in the country and it is fluctuang around the 20,000 mark. A total number of 19903 new cases of coronavirus are reported in India in the last 24 hours in India taking the total tally of cases to 4,40,87,037. The active cases in the country saw a decline and the total number of active cases are said to be 1,36,478. With 20419 new recoveries reported in the last 24 hours, the total number of recoveries are said to be 4,34,24,029. 53 new deaths are reported in the country yesterday and the total death toll climbed to 5,26,530. The total number of tests conducted for coronavirus are said to be 87,67,60,536 and the tests that are conducted yesterday are 4,03,006.

The total vaccination doses given in India after the pandemic started are said to be 2,05,22,51,408 and the vaccinations given yesterday are 38,20,676. The health experts say that there is a possible fourth wave of coronavirus in the country. The active cases comprise of 0.31 percent of the total infections and the recovery rate reported is 98.50 percent. The daily positivity rate stands at 4.94 percent and the weekly positivity rate is 4.64 percent. Maharashtra, Kerala and Tamil Nadu have been seen reporting high number of cases for coronavirus. The Indian government has asked the people to be extra cautious and take all the precautions when they are in the public.
