ACB Raids: Money Recovered From A PVC Pipe In Karnataka

The ACB officials are left in surprise after the Karnataka officials recovered the money from pipes. The video of the raid is now going viral all over. The raids are conducted in the residence of a Junior Engineer in the Public Works Department (PWD). ACB officials are spotted pulling out lakhs of cash and gold ornaments from a PVC pipe. JE Shantagouda Biradar's residence in Kalaburagi is raided after there are complaints and allegations about his disproportionate assets. The raid was conducted by ACB SP Mahesh Meghannavar and his team. The officials reached the residence of Shantagouda Biradar at 9 AM and he took 10 minutes to open the door.

The officials suspected that he had hidden the unaccounted cash in the house. A plumber was brought into the scene to cut open the PVC pipe in Shantagouda Biradar's residence. The officials spotted bundles of cash along with gold ornaments that are stuffed inside the PVC pipe. Cash worth Rs 13.5 lakhs were recovered from his residence from the pipe and Rs 6 lakhs are recovered from a ceiling. Shantagouda Biradar is a junior engineer in PWD in the Jewargi sub-division and he joined the service in 2000. The raids continued till late night and the ACB officials also recovered several documents.
