Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026) was introduced in China on Tuesday at the company's launch event for May 2026. This gaming smartphone signifies Lenovo's re-entry into this market after almost four years. Alongside, the company also showcased its newest Legion Y900 gaming tablet. The gaming phone runs on an octa-core Snapdragon 8 series processor, made using a 3nm technology. Additionally, it comes with an 8,000mAh battery that supports fast charging at 90W. The device features a dual rear camera setup, including a main 50-megapixel camera. The starting price for the Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026) is CNY 3,099, which is approximately Rs. 44,000, for the model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. For higher models, the 12GB + 512GB version and the 16GB + 256GB version are priced at CNY 3,699 (around Rs. 53,000) and CNY 4,099 (nearly Rs. 58,000) respectively. The top model, which provides 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, costs CNY 4,899 (approximately Rs. 70,000). Currently, the device is available for purchase in China through the Lenovo online store. The Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026) comes in two colors: Carbon Black and Ice Soul White.

The Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026) supports dual SIM cards and runs on Android 16. The gaming device has a 6.82-inch 2K screen that provides up to 144Hz refresh rate, with a 510 ppi pixel density, full DCI-P3 color range, and impressive brightness of up to 7,000 nits. The company claims that this display is more energy-efficient compared to other standard 1.5K screens on the market. Additionally, it has IP66 + IP68 + IP69 ratings that ensure dust and water resistance. The device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip built with 3nm technology. It also has options for up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. According to the company, the Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026) scored a remarkable 32,61,888 points on the AnTuTu benchmarking tool. To manage heat, the phone utilizes Lenovo's advanced cooling system called "Qiankun Ningjin," featuring liquid gold and special thermal materials. For photography, the Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026) includes a dual rear camera system with a primary 50-megapixel camera that has an f/1.88 aperture and a 1/1.56-inch sensor. Additionally, it has an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture on the back and a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls, also with an f/2.2 aperture.

The Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026) features an 8,000mAh Star Ring Battery and supports 90W fast charging through a USB Type-C port along with bypass charging. The battery is expected to last for up to seven years. The phone weighs around 224g.
