The Nothing Phone 3a Lite arrived in India in November of last year, equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro processor. It was offered in two variations for RAM and storage, starting at a price of Rs. 20,999. Recently, a new report indicates that the phone's price will increase in the country. This rise in cost is likely due to the increasing prices of memory chips. The Nothing Phone 3a Lite showcases a unique Glyph light design and has a large 5,000mAh battery that supports fast charging at 33W. A source has indicated that Nothing plans to raise the price of the Phone 3a Lite in India by Rs. 3,000 beginning on Monday. The model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is now expected to sell for Rs. 24,999, while the model with 256GB of storage and the same RAM is suggested to be priced at Rs. 26,999. At the time of writing this article, the price of the phone has gone up by Rs. 1,000 from its initial launch prices. Just to remember, the Nothing Phone 3a Lite launched in November last year at Rs. 20,999 for the basic version and Rs. 22,999 for the version with 256GB of storage. Currently, Flipkart has listed it at Rs. 21,999 for the base model with 128GB storage and Rs. 23,999 for the 256GB model.
The increased prices of memory chips are thought to be the cause for the price increase. The tipster has also shared a photo, which seems to come from a seller's notice, indicating that the current prices will only hold as long as the present stock lasts, after which new stock will show the higher prices. Nothing has not officially acknowledged the price increase for the Nothing Phone 3a Lite yet. For selfies and video calls, the device has a 16-megapixel front camera. The Phone 3a Lite has an IP54 rating, making it resistant to dust and splashes. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired quick charging.
