The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 was released worldwide, also in India, this Wednesday, together with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. This folding phone that looks like a flip phone has an Exynos 2500 SoC and a new design for its outside screen compared to the Galaxy Z Flip 6. It has a 4.1-inch full-screen display, different from the older folder-style screen. It is also one of the first Samsung devices to come with One UI 8, which is based on Android 16. When unfolded, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is only 6.5mm thick, which is less thick than the Galaxy Z Flip 6, which is 6.9mm thick. The starting cost for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 in India is Rs. 1,09,999 for the one with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The one with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage is Rs. 1,21,999. You can get the phone in colors like Blue Shadow, Coral Red, Jet Black, and Mint. You can only buy the Mint color from the Samsung India website.
You can order it before it's released on the official website, and sales will start on July 25. People who order before July 12 can get the 12GB + 512GB version for the same price as the 256GB version as part of a special offer. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 has a 6.9-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X main screen and a 4.1-inch Super AMOLED outside screen. Both screens can refresh up to 120 times per second and can get as bright as 2,600 nits. The outer screen has protection from Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The device runs on a home-made 3nm Exynos 2500 SoC and has 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. It uses One UI 8, which is based on Android 16, right when you start using it.

For taking pictures, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 has two cameras on the back, including a 50-megapixel main camera with a wide-angle lens and 2x optical zoom, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. There&039;s also a 10-megapixel camera at the top of the main screen for taking selfies. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 has a ProVisual Engine, which has different AI tools for taking and changing pictures. The phone also has AI features like Transcript Assist, Note Assist, Call Assist, and Live Translation. It has Google Gemini features built in and works with Google’s Circle to Search. Other helpful features include Now Bar and Now Brief. Now Bar is a tool that floats on the screen and helps with music, notifications, and more, and Now Brief gives a daily update of your plans right on the cover screen.
Samsung put a 4,300mAh battery in the Galaxy Z Flip 7. This folding phone has an Armor Aluminium middle frame and an Armor Flex Hinge, which is said to be thinner than the hinge on the older Galaxy Z Flip 6. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is rated IP48 for being resistant to dust and water. It is 6.5mm thick when open, 13.7mm thick when closed, and it weighs 188g.
