Indian Captain Virat Kohli said team knows and it is very clear about the playing XI going into the first match of world cup 2019. He said that only one spot needed more discussion.

On Wednesday, Australia beats India by 35 runs in the fifth and final one day International to bounce back from 0-2 down and win the series by 3-2 scoreline in Delhi’s Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium.

In the Post match press conference Kohli said, "We are sorted combination wise. We know our playing XI going into the World Cup. There will be just one change based on condition. When Hardik Pandya will come back, he gives depth in batting and opens up options in bowling. We know where we are going. We are clear about our playing XI.”

“We are more or less sorted with what we want to do. The guys just need to get their roles for the World Cup and expect them to stand up and deliver. Just one spot in the side that needs some discussion,” Kohli said at post match presentation ceremony

“The guys will reflect on the series quite a bit. It's been a long season, and we can be proud of the cricket we have played over the last few months,” he added.

With the series defeat here are some stats, First series loss for India at home since losing 2-3 to South Africa in October 2015. First ODI series defeat for captain Virat Kohli at home. Also, the first instance of India losing three consecutive ODIs under Kohli's captaincy. And also it is first time India have been bowled out thrice in any series since the tri-series in Australia in 2012.
